Manavgat transfer to a working river town

Manavgat is a real Turkish town, with offices, schools, shops and traffic, not a beach resort. It stands on the Manavgat river, which runs wide and green through the centre. Excursion boats leave from the town and travel downstream to the point where the river meets the sea. A short way north lies the Manavgat waterfall, a broad, low cascade, and the town hosts a large weekly market.

Hotels in Manavgat are town hotels. Most of the area’s beach hotels are a short drive away in Side, Sorgun and Titreyengöl.

Where the car drops you in town

The D400 passes straight through Manavgat where it crosses the river, so the drive from the airport ends in town streets rather than at a resort barrier. The driver brings you to the hotel entrance or the front door of your flat. In a town centre a car cannot always stop right outside, so a precise address or a location pin is worth sending; where stopping is not possible, the driver parks nearby and helps with the luggage.

The price for Manavgat

Lying further out than Side and its beaches, the town has a fare of its own, different from theirs. Whatever the figure, it covers the whole vehicle and is confirmed in writing before your trip. Waiting for a delayed flight and airport parking are already inside it. Child seats are charged as an extra, and a larger party may need a larger vehicle, which changes the amount.

From the arrivals hall to the river

After passport control and baggage reclaim, go to Welcome desk No:36 Hana Travel in the arrivals hall. Your driver is there holding a name board. Your flight is followed by the office, and a delayed arrival just pushes the pickup back.
