The road east is flat and wide. The car skirts the city instead of crossing it, passes the exits for Belek and the bridge over the Köprüçay, and continues through farmland and pine woods into Manavgat district. Before reaching Side it leaves the highway towards the shore and the hotel entrances of Çolaklı. The trip is 60 km and normally takes about 55 minutes.

Most big resorts here have a guarded barrier. Security usually lets the car carry on to the lobby, and the driver lifts the cases out at reception. Where a hotel keeps outside vehicles at a fixed drop-off point, you step out there, a short walk from the front desk. Apartments and holiday homes behind the hotel strip, where a handful of shops and restaurants line the road, are driven to as well.

The way home and rides along the coast

For the return, send us your flight number and departure time; the office suggests a pick-up hour that leaves room for the drive and for check-in. An evening in Side old town, a morning at the Manavgat waterfall or a change of hotel in the middle of the holiday can be booked in just the same way.
